First Trans-National Co-operation between Haifeng GA and High Tech Helicopters

On 17th November2015,ManagerWang and Marketing Manager Cheng,from Haifeng General Aviation Technology Co., Ltd travelled from Beijing to High Tech Helicopters Shanghai office. The purpose was to negotiate the Certification requirements by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)in New Zealand for the Haifeng GA designed and manufacturing Aviation LightingSystems.

After two hours discussion the two parties agreed and signed a Co-operation Agreement that engaged High Tech Helicopters to conduct installation and trials for the Haifeng GA Aviation Lighting units. This is to be at the biggest private helicopter operational base in Auckland, New Zealand by December, 2015.Other installations will also be conducted in New Zealand at commercial bases and General Aviation airports. It will lay a strong foundation for further marketing and promotion of the Aviation lighting systems in the whole of New Zealand.

Haifeng General Aviation Technology Co., Ltd is a Chinese General Aviation equipment manufacturer based in Beijing, China. One of the very specialised products they produce is various Runway and Heliport Lighting Systems. These LED units have been designed and manufactured to an International Standard and are now awaiting appropriate Certification prior to Global Sales of these units. Haifeng GA is also a Chinese State-Owned Company, which is dedicated to Aircraft Maintenance Systems in the domestic market. Haifeng GA currently provides Scientific Research, Production and Engineering Services of Equipment for Military
Aviation Systems.

The founder and Chairman of High Tech Helicopters Limited, Kingsley Thompson has previously established three helicopter companies in New Zealand. The first two conducted helicopter tourism and agriculture services, the third provided all helicopter related services within the Queenstown mountainous area, including heli-skiing, aerial lifting, and rescue operations.
